1st Annual Wedding Giveaway Winners! | Abby and Charlie at Rockhurst Farm | Birmingham Wedding Photographers | Margaret Taylor Photography

We all do it... take our chances and enter a silly giveaway never expecting to win. Well, these two won- a FREE wedding photography package from us at the Elite Bridal Show in January! I remember Abby's reaction when I called, "I never win anything!", "You made my week!!", and my favorite "I almost didn't go to the show, but Charlie told me I should!" We are so excited it was them who won!

Their day began at Rockhurst Farm, a hidden open field of property with a pavilion, bridal suite, groom's suite, and a breathtaking giant tree where the ceremony takes place! Abby was getting ready with her girls and finishing her final touches before she saw Charlie. Their first look was so sweet and they're both so easy going! They made portraits so enjoyable capturing their carefree smiles. After all the portraits with the wedding party, we prepped for the ceremony as the sun shone bright on the tree. Simply gorgeous. You could hear, see, and feel the calmness as the wind blew and the sun began to set. Then we entered the reception and started the first dances. Charlie and Abby enjoyed cake, a photo booth, and lots of dancing until it was time to say farewell! They both hugged us so tight and thanked us for spending the day with them. 

And that's why we do this. Those tight hugs you just can't put a price on! Congratulations Abby and Charlie! I'm so glad it was you!
